     Two cultures collided and then infuse to create one extraordinary flavor. It all started 20 years ago when Eloisa embarked upon her journey to North America (from southern Brazil) to fulfill the proverbial America dream.  That’s when she met her future husband (Peter) whom himself was an avid griller in his own right. Together they collaborated and concocted a secret family recipe which today is known as “That Salt”.

     Eloisa’s life time of experience in her family hotel restaurant business (Hotel Sandrini Termas da Guard) laid a strong foundation for the creation of That Salt.

Being raised in the family business her culinary arts experience flourished with knowledge. Working from an extremely young age Eloisa was saturated with hands on approach to all aspects of culinary arts from presentation, preparation, cooking and serves. For the next 20 years she fine-tuned all her culinary skills.

     After attending the Feast of the Blessed Sacrament one year and sampling their traditional salt they instantly knew that they needed to be bringing their phenomenal product to market for the rest of world to experience. That’s where I (brother-in-law, Matt) stepped in realizing the full potential of this amazing product. I immediately contacted my former business associates and requested sample for labeling and packaging. After much deliberation, we all agreed upon the company name and the direction we wanted it to head in. We hope that you and your family enjoy the many pleasures of our secret family recipe.
